IPSC3 is a non-profit, hobby project intended for amateur radio use by licensed operators, clubs, and related community groups. It is not intended for commercial radio service, safety-of-life dispatch, or any use where failure of the software could create risk to people, property, or critical infrastructure.
The project is developed and operated in the spirit of amateur radio: experimentation, education, interoperability, and community service. Any use of IPSC3 should comply with the applicable amateur radio licence conditions, local regulations, network policies, and good amateur operating practice.
IPSC3 interacts with DMR radios, repeaters, hotspots, protocols, trademarks, product names, and network systems created by third parties. All copyrights, patents, trademarks, protocol rights, product names, and other intellectual property rights remain the property of their respective holders.
References to manufacturers, radio models, protocols, networks, or third-party systems are for interoperability, documentation, and amateur radio testing. They do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, or ownership by the IPSC3 project.
IPSC3 is provided for hobby, experimental, and educational use. It is provided without warranty of any kind. Operators are responsible for testing their own deployments, complying with their licence conditions, and ensuring the system is suitable for their local network use.
Anyone operating an IPSC3 system is responsible for their own configuration, connected repeaters, connected hotspots, network links, users, logging, security controls, and compliance obligations. The IPSC3 project cannot guarantee compatibility with every radio, repeater, hotspot, firmware version, or network topology.
