Production release | Build 90 | Updated 30 October 2026
IPSC3 POC 0.6.3 is now the production release for the Retevis L71, Udo/Abree 8900, UNIWA F400 and Anysecu W2 Pro. It brings the features tested in the 0.6.2 beta into the main release, with matching Windows and Apple Silicon macOS installers.
The release includes AllStar channels, private POC groups, broadcast alerts, microphone equalization and portable configuration backups. Both installers also have a new Troubleshooting tab to help users connect their radios.
- Udo/Abree 8900 AllStar audio: fixes choppy or slowed transmitted speech and lowers the AllStar transmit level by 6 dB, following operator testing on the AllStar parrot.
- Other audio is unchanged: the 8900's POC audio, receive audio and tones retain their previous levels. L71, F400 and Anysecu audio calibration and timing are unchanged.
- Matching packages: both installers and all four bundled firmwares are build 90. Existing 0.6.3 server authentication keys and Android signing certificates are unchanged.
- AllStar channels: add named AllStar node presets alongside POC talkgroups. Configure and verify your account through the installer, and manage channel presets in the installer or radio web interface. AllStar has distinct transmit-permit and incoming-call tones. POC direct calls, SMS and location reporting remain available while an AllStar channel is selected.
- Private POC groups: select server-managed member groups from a separate menu. Automatic reply dwell keeps an incoming group selected briefly for a reply, then restores the previous public or AllStar channel. This requires group support and membership on the connected server.
- Broadcast alerts: News, Emergency and Administrative announcements have separate receive switches, initially enabled. Alert Only plays the announcement tone without off-channel speech. Channel mute silences ordinary channel traffic while still allowing enabled announcements, private calls and SMS.
- Microphone controls: the Microphone settings menu offers gain adjustment and a four-band transmit equalizer, with each band adjustable from -4 to +4 dB. Matching controls are available in the radio web interface.
- Portable configuration backups: save and reload Radio ID presets, server selection, contacts, preset messages, talkgroup filters, AllStar details and compatible preferences. Backups can be used across supported radio models. Files may contain an AllStar password, so keep them private.
- Installer reliability: retains the Android 8.1 settings and AllStar transfer fixes, Windows multiline settings-transfer fix, and Anysecu button-service recovery after AllStar settings updates.
- Troubleshooting tab: a scrollable guide explains how to reveal Developer options, enable USB debugging and authorize the computer on the Anysecu W2 Pro and UNIWA F400. It is available before a radio is detected.
AllStar supports one outgoing node link. Incoming AllStar links, hub operation and bridging between AllStar and DMR are not included. Broadcast reception and transmit privileges depend on the connected IPSC3 server.
| Radio | Firmware | Controls |

IPSC3 POC 0.6.3 production release
The macOS installer runs natively on Apple Silicon. It is not an Intel Mac package. GitHub downloads require access to the project repository; public distribution sites can host these same ZIPs and checksum files.
Download the companion SHA-256 file from the same release as the ZIP. It contains the checksum for the current installer archive.
- Download the installer for your computer and extract the entire ZIP before running it. Keep the bundled folders together.
- Check that the installer header shows Version 0.6.3 and Build 90.
- Connect the powered-on radio with a USB data cable. Enable USB debugging and approve the computer if prompted. The Troubleshooting tab provides instructions.
- Detect the radio and load its existing settings. Save a configuration backup before making changes.
- Review the selected server and Radio ID presets, then use Install / Update IPSC3 POC. Wait for success before disconnecting.
Existing settings are retained; a factory reset is not required. Radio controls are unchanged. This update adjusts only the Udo/Abree 8900 AllStar transmit path; existing 0.6.3 server keys remain valid.
The macOS installer may require approval through macOS security settings. It is not Apple Developer ID notarized.
